CHA Winter 2010 - Sneak Peek 5 - My Little Shoebox

here are six brand new releases from My Little Shoebox for CHA 2010.  As you know, we are big fans of MLS and carry their entire range... and have since day one!  I remember their first releases like it was just last month as they were so gorgeous!  (We still carry them in stock if you are interested!)

So, fresh from MLS themselves, here are the latest offerings:-

CHA Winter 2010 - Sneak Peek 4 - Prima Marketing

Five beautiful collections are being released from Prima Marketing for CHA Winter 2010.

As well as new "Say It In Pearls" sets, called Say It With Pearls & Roses in a variety of colours and styles:-

CHA Winter 2010 - Sneak Peek 3 - Tim Holtz Idea-ology

Tom Holtz has really outdone himself this time with the latest releases of his Idea-ology line from Advantus Corp.

There are three 12x12 paper stacks to be released, and each stack contains 36 double-sided, cardstock weight, patterned papers.  But rather than just containing 12x12 sheets, the stacks also contain 6x6 mini versions of the designs (4 on a sheet), 2x2 snippets (the entire 12x12 is shrunk to 2x2 inches) and sheets of atc sized designs and border strips...all in the same stack!  So each stack is perfect for scrapbooking, mini-books, ATCs and altered art projects.  Perfect!

Plus Tim has put pen to paper once again for a new book called "Compendium of Curiosities".  This is a 77 page "how to create"  book filled with ideas on every Idea-ology product Tim has designed.

There are also new releases of Tim's famous "bits and pieces", including new findings, such as:-

Locket Keys and Watch Faces

Ruler Ribbon and Memo Pins

Accoutrement Buttons - Curio Knobs

Adornment Charms and Foundation Box Feet

CHA Winter 2010 - Sneak Peek 2 - Tim Holtz Distress Inks

Following on from Ranger Ink's current 24 colours of the popular Tim Holtz Distress Inks, twelve new colours have been releases for 2010.

CHA Winter 2010 - Sneak Peek 1 - Tim Holtz Stamps

Well here are the first of the sneak peeks from the new CHA 2010 releases... and from the grungemeister himself!

Twelve new sets of Tim Holtz stamps from Stampers Anonymous!

Happy New Year!

Ok... so I am a little behind.

In fact I am a lot behind!

My November blogging never really got started before I was once again swamped and then December was a right off... I would like to say it was due to Christmas but that wasn't the case.

Still its a new year now and a new start for ScrapShed! We ran out of space in the middle of last year and have been struggling to get everything in a way that makes it easy to operate on a daily basis. So... First job was to remove *everything* from the Shed and pretty much start again... and so thats what happened.

With all that was going on at the end of last year, we didn't have much time to upload all the new stock that continued to arrive and so second job... sort out the stack of invoices and get the new stock online! Admittedly a lot of it came to various shows with us, so its not all bad but after 10 days, I have just two invoices left to get online! YAY! I think I have uploaded over 700 items in that time.

Anyway... the worst is over! There is light at the end of the tunnel! Stock is ready to go back onto the new new racking (2nd time we have had new racks) and then its just a little bit of counting to be done and we are ready to re-open with our MASSIVE Winter sale.

Just in time too, as we have been placing loads of orders for all the fabulous new CHA releases and there are some lovely new items being released this year! Can't wait! I shall be posting "Sneak Peaks" (Sneak Peeks? Sneek Peeks?... who knows!) over the next five days... so watch out for those!

Blogging at Breakfast

Blogging for Scrapbookers - Day One

Today is day one of Shimelle's Blogging for Scrapbookers and I am going for the "little or no time" quick option... (you'll know what I'll mean if you are taking the course!)

I want to make sure I keep up with this class and so, for me, I think that is going to mean 'blogging at breakfast'.

I get up at 7am-ish every day (although right now its 6am-ish as I deliberately haven't put my watch back so I get the extra hour every day which allows me to get more done! - its psychological but it works!)

My days are pretty full and finding time to do anything is hard at the moment; but if I have the intention, I also need to find the time and so blogging while I eat my toast and drink my morning cuppa seems like a good routine at the moment.

I also need to set realistic and achievable goals (trying to be a good student!), so here we go...

  1. To maintain and update the blog as regularly as possible,

  2. ...with useful news, information and inspiration

  3. ...which is fun to read.

  4. To make blogging

  5. ...and daily life journaling/scrapbooking part of my life, in someway.

If you are also taking Shimelle's Blogging class and have popped over to read my blog... thanks so much for taking the time... its much appreciated. I am really looking forward to reading all your blogs in the coming weeks too!
